Federal

7 of 16 items complete. Remaining 9 items are primarily NJ foreign LLC registration (5 items), federal tax returns, Delaware franchise tax, local permits, and insurance.
Customer-Facing Legal Documents
The Terms of Service and Privacy Policy are published on the main website. Key provisions documented here for internal reference. Last substantive review: Jun 10, 2026 (website QA sweep) — the Terms now name My Storage Valet LLC as the contracting entity, state the 14-day complimentary trial, state the 48-hour notice requirement in both directions (pickups and deliveries), and state the 365-day booking horizon. A cancel/reschedule FAQ was added to the website the same day.

Privacy Policy — Key Provisions

Additional Insurance Coverage
ToS references availability of additional coverage for high-value items. Currently handled manually (direct customer contact). Automated upsell planned for portal when customers approach $2,000 inventory threshold.
Contracts & E-Signature Workflow
The canonical process for creating Storage Valet agreements (partner, vendor, or any other counterparty) and collecting legally binding signatures. Established Jun 12, 2026. Tool stack: Google Workspace eSignature (primary) + PandaDoc Free eSign (backup) — both $0 incremental; no paid e-signature tool. Tooling details and limits: Technology → E-Signature & Contracts.
Scope note: this workflow is for counterparty agreements that need a real signature. Customer membership terms are NOT signed this way — customers accept the Terms of Service during portal registration.

All contract files live in My Drive → Storage Valet — Contracts/ on the zach@mystoragevalet.com account (a _README.txt in the folder carries the same steps):

Creating a Contract
- Start from the master template in
01 Templates(or draft a new Google Doc there if no template exists yet). - Make a copy — never edit the master — and fill in counterparty name, terms, dates.
- Name it
YYYY-MM-DD — [Counterparty] — [Agreement Type]and move it to02 Out for Signature.
Sending for Signature (Google eSignature — primary)
- Open the Doc or PDF in Drive preview, then click Request eSignature in the toolbar (or the ⋮ menu). It is NOT in Drive’s right-click “Open with” menu. Verified in-product Jun 12, 2026 — no admin enablement needed.
- Drag fields onto the document: Signature, Initials, Name, Text, and auto-filled Date signed. Use the signer dropdown for multi-party agreements (up to 10 signers).
- Enter the recipient email(s) and send. Recipients sign from an email link — no Google account required.
- Google generates the completed PDF with a full audit trail automatically. File it in
03 Executed.
Backup Path (PandaDoc Free eSign)
Use only when a recipient prefers PandaDoc or Google eSignature is unavailable. Upload the prepared PDF to PandaDoc, place fields, send. Then download the executed PDF and file it in 03 Executed — the Drive archive stays the single source of truth. Free-plan limits: 60 sends/year, 2 recipients/document, 5 templates, no integrations, no hyperlinks inside sent documents.
Status (Jun 12, 2026)
Google eSignature: live and verified on the zach@ account (included in Google Workspace Business Standard; 200 requests/user/month). PandaDoc: backup account signup pending — create at pandadoc.com with zach@mystoragevalet.com on the Free eSign plan (not the 14-day trial). No partner agreement templates exist yet in 01 Templates; draft the first master template when the first partnership reaches contract stage.
